Embedded YouTube feeds:

How to do it:

  1. go to the page at YouTube,
  2. just below the video, on the lower right edge, below the views counter, is a button labeled "Embed"
  3. click that
  4. a text box will open, pre-selected for copying, with the HTML code needed to embed the video on a page.
  5. Just (Mac) splat-C or (Windoze) ctrl-C to copy it into your paste buffer.
  6. now paste that (splat-V or ctrl-V) verbatim into your web page's source.
  7. good luck

Beneath the "copy" box, there are tick-boxes and graphics to allow you to slightly customize the resulting page.
They let you control the size of the object, the colors of the control bars, whether or not a sequence of "related" videos appear after the song plays

Warning: below this point your eyes may bleed...
------------------------

For the truly obsessed, here's the HTML that did that (inhale):
<object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/cbx26fpORBw&hl=en_US&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/cbx26fpORBw&hl=en_US&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>
...exhale.

Breaking it down into pieces:

p.s. If you tell it to -not- show the "related videos" at the end, the Object and Embed values get a "?rel=0" added to their parameter values.
The question mark (?) is another value separator, and i assume it's shorthand for "related=0" (or "no").

You can apparently also get by with just the part starting with <embed and ending with ></embed>
My browser (Firefox) renders that roughly the same as the full-blown object-plus-embed, but the "related videos" did not appear (at least in the tiny example below). Pickier browsers might complain. Web-enabled phones will probably prefer the "object" protection, too.

But here's the "embed only" example, with the height/width halved (but still as loud):

... end of "eye bleed" section...

have fun
